The new Professional protective bike cover from Hindermann has been developed specifically to protect two E-Bikes on a rear platform rack as pictured.
Note:designed for rear platforms not suitable for carriers on the trailer/towbar coupling.
This box-shaped protective cover is pulled over the bicycles from above and sealed all around. To allow for easy removal.
The front flap can be opened using the (reflective) zip fasteners.
This means that the cover does not need to be removed each time and can remain on the rack.
Comes with full fitting instructions and straps built into the sides should ensure no additional straps would be required. (This would be at the customers discretion).
Van Comfort’s advice is fit with additional Hindermann straps or standard bungee or straps etc.
The instructions are printed on the box.

Please note the some of the pictures include images of the warning sign and the tie down straps which are not included with the cover (at an additional cost if required).
These bike covers are especially designed for Motorhomes and Caravans and are not for use on cars or racks with electrical/hand platform systems.
Consideration must also be taken into account if the cover obscures the number plate and lights. A light board would be required.

Each Bike set up can be different but your handlebars should not be have to be twisted.
The trick is to ensure the cover can not move when in transit although impossible the more secure the cover is the less it will rub against the bikes when moving etc.
The tie down straps and warning sign are not included with the cover but can be purchased as additional extras.
The two types of straps as seen in the picture gallery are the popular Hook Straps which use the Warning Sign pocket eyelets to tie down the cover and the Pro Cover straps with the Snap lock system which are normally used for vertical fixings. NOTE: The Professional Bike Cover warning sign pockets do not have eyelets — The Pro Cover straps are suitable for this cover.
